Artist Information

HOOK is a versatile five or eight-piece band dedicated to delivering dance music for wedding receptions and private parties. Their mix of current hits, retro favorites from the 70s and 80s, and classic rock ‘n’ roll makes them an easy choice for any event. Unlike many other dance bands, HOOK also offers a selection of country songs to keep all your guests happy. Featuring both male and female lead vocalists, the band can perform a wide variety of songs. With an average age of around 30, HOOK combines youthful energy with professional experience, making them the perfect choice for any celebration. They also bring a sound technician who doubles as a DJ during breaks, ensuring nonstop entertainment.

For an extra fee, HOOK can expand to an eight-piece band by adding a three-piece horn section. Ask your agent for more details.

Let me just say that Hook was INCREDIBLE! They sounded so great! So so many people were asking who they were and everyone was really impressed with their sound. They sounded as good or better than the groups that actually recorded the songs! Before our event I was a little worried that a reception so early in the day might not be as much of a party/dance atmosphere as one later at night, but the dance floor was completely full the entire time. They were exactly what I hoped for! Really they just helped make my daughter’s wedding a perfect night. There is not one thing I would change – their playlist was perfect, they interacted well with the crowd, they followed the schedule to the second. HOOK was absolutely awesome!  I was a little nervous about booking a band based off YouTube videos, but wow!  They definitely brought their A-Game.  I’m so happy we decided to go with HOOK instead of a DJ.  The band members of HOOK arrived on time and were dressed to impress! They did SUCH A GREAT JOB! It’s been a week since our wedding event and I’m still receiving compliments. Even my parents, who are both in their 60’s loved them! I am so happy with our band choice. I have zero negative comments to make about our experience with Box Talent and only great compliments to give the members of HOOK. My only regret is not booking the seven piece band! Unfortunately, we thought we’d be facing space constraints so we went with the four piece band. Overall though, HOOK was awesome. The staff at our event venue, Oakwood Country Club, also had only great compliments to give. They kept our dance floor packed and everyone at our event absolutely loved them. Just wanted to let you know Audrey’s wedding was wonderful. The reception attended by about 200 people was beautiful, and Hook was incredible. We danced to their wonderful music until midnight.
